Author Guidelines
I. GENERAL INFORMATION
1. „Studia Migracyjne – Przegląd Polonijny” (“Migration Studies - Polish Diaspora Review”) is a quarterly journal published by the Committee for Migration Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences. We publish articles related to historical and contemporary international migration processes as well as those concerning transformations of migrant communities in destination countries. We are interested in all aspects of migration - from migration policy and the attitude of national authorities towards migrants, to issues related to collective and personal identity. In accordance with the long tradition of the journal, we also consider issues related to national minorities.
2. There is no Article Processing Charge (APC).
3. The Editorial Board accepts texts in Polish and English in the following categories: “Articles”, „Current information and conference reports, memoirs”, „Discussion”, „Reviews”.
4. Together with the text of the article, the Authors should send an abstract (750-1500 characters), keywords (3-7) and a short biographical note.
5. The article should include comprehensive information about data sources (time and duration of fieldwork, applied research methods and techniques, studied population) and methods of analysis.
6. Electronic files in Word format should be submitted via Editorial Panel
7. The Editorial Board does not return unsolicited material.
8. The Editorial Bard confirms the reception of the submission.
9. Texts intended for publication go through a double-blind review process. After receiving the review the Editorial Board informs the Author whether the article is accepted for publication or requires revisions.
10. In most cases, the initial editorial review process takes up to 7 days, and the first decision is made in approximately two months from the submission date.
II. INFORMATION CONCERNING SUBMISSIONS
When making a submission please adhere to the following requirements:
1. Font: Times New Roman (12 pt).
Line spacing: 1.5; paragraph spacing: 0.
Left margin: 3 cm, other margins: 2.5 cm.
Manuscript length: Should not exceed 60,000 characters
2. The first page of the article should include the following information:

3. We allow both commonly used citation styles: in-text and in the form of footnotes. In both cases bibliography at the end of article is necessary. Please adjust them to the following guidelines:

In-text citations should take the form: (Nowak 2005: 60). The bibliography should remain in accordance with the following style:
