Author Guidelines
Authors are requested to submit texts in electronic form via Editorial Panel: https://ojs.ejournals.eu/PMO/about/submissions.
The text should be typed using Times New Roman font, 11 pt., with single line spacing. All pages should be consecutively numbered. It should not exceed the size of a publisher’s sheet. The text should not be formatted.
Texts for subsequent volumes shall be accepted by the editorialTeamuntil the end of the year preceding the volume publication (e.g. for volume III (2016) until 31 December 2015, for volume IV (2017) until 31 December 2016, etc.).
The article text should be accompanied by:
- brief biographical information (author’s first name and surname, academic title and degree, place of employment, and functions held),
- abstract of no more than 1000 characters with spaces preceded by keywords in Polish and English.
Illustrations and other graphics (figures, tables, diagrams, charts) should include a title and consecutive numbering, and should be sent as separate files in JPG, TIFF or PNG format, in 300 dpi resolution. The location of the illustration in the text should be marked and captioned. Illustrations should have an indication of their source.
Citations in the text should be enclosed in quotation marks, while their source, as well as other references to the bibliography, should be indicated in the footnotes numbered for the entire article.

In the footnotes, Latin terms should be used - ibidem, idem etc.
All articles published in “POLONIA MAIOR ORIENTALIS” are peer-reviewed. The editorial team reserves the right to reject and revise texts.
Procedure protecting against ghostwritting and guest authorship
Texts sent to the editorial team of POLONIA MAIOR ORIENTALIS must comply with the ghostwriting prevention rules. All disclosed cases of ghostwriting (concealment of the involvement of actual authors) and guest authorship (listing persons who made no discernible contribution to the text as its authors/co-authors) will be made public on the website of our journal. The organisational unit employing the Author will also be informed of this fact.
In justified cases, the editorial team may request a statement on the contribution of Author(s) in accordance with the ghostwriting prevention rules.
Authors may also be asked to submit a statement specifying the funding sources for the publication as well as contributions from scientific research institutions, associations and other entities (financial disclosure).
