Abstrakt

The study aims to bring closer the issues related to the identification of sabotage and reconnaissance activity of the Russian Federation conducted on the territory of Ukraine since the beginning of the armed conflict. Based on the experience of the Ukrainian Security Service, sets of markers (characteristic features) have been presented, the proper reading of which allows to capture the subversive activity of Russian sabotage groups. The foundation of accurate identification seems to be the observation of seemingly innocent behaviors, which are a prelude to a wider spectrum of activities with a much more dangerous overtones. Downplaying the emerging deviations, in the actions of inflowing individuals, from the moral norm of a given community can help the opponent mask hostile actions. However, if we get to know the current modus operandi used by the aggressor, we will be much more sensitive to the first symptoms of sabotage activity and preventing it will become much more effective.
