Author Guidelines

To submit a manuscript to the journal, the author must first register on the journal platform. If already registered, simply log in to proceed with the submission. ("Make a new submission" button above)


Submission Requirements

  1. Each submission must include at least two files:
    • A file titled "Article Text", which is fully anonymized and contains no identifying information.
    • A file titled "Title Page", which includes the author(s)' information.

  2. The manuscript should be submitted as a DOC or DOCX file through the journal’s online submission system: (link)

  3. The Title Page must be submitted as a separate file and include:
    • Full name(s) of the author(s) and institutional affiliations;
    • Email address (and optionally, phone number);
    • The corresponding author identified;
    • ORCID ID(s);
    • Full title of the article;
    • Acknowledgements (if applicable).

  4. The Article Text must be anonymized and prepared for double-blind peer review.

    Formatting Guidelines

  5. Text formatting:
    • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt;
    • Title: Centered, bold, 14 pt;
    • Subheadings: Centered, no numbering, 12 pt;
    • Line spacing: 1.5;
    • Margins: 2.5 cm;
    • Abstract and keywords at the beginning, 10 pt font.

  6. Quotations:
    • Short quotes should be enclosed in quotation marks;

  7. Long quotes should be set apart from the main text.

  8. Tables and Figures
    • Should be numbered consecutively throughout the article;
    • Each must include a title or caption;
    • Figures must be submitted in formats compatible with MS Word (e.g., .tif, .jpg, .bmp, .eps, .pcx, .wmf);
    • Graphics created in MS Word must be grouped as a single unit and not drawn directly in the text body.

  9. In-text citations should follow APA 7th edition guidelines (APA Style official site).

  10. Footnotes should be minimized and used only for additional commentary.

  11. The References section must follow APA 7th edition formatting.

  12. Articles submitted in Polish must include abstracts in both Polish and English.

  13. For research involving human participants (e.g., interviews, questionnaires, observations), authors must provide:
    • Ethics committee approval details (including the reference number);
    • A scanned copy of the approval document is recommended;
    • A clear description of ethical procedures should be included in a section titled “Ethical Statement”.

  14. Authors must disclose the contributions of all individuals or entities involved in the preparation of the article (intellectual, material, or financial). The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring accurate attribution.
    Cases of ghostwriting (undisclosed contribution) and guest authorship (credit given without contribution) are considered serious breaches of publication ethics and will be investigated and disclosed if discovered.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • The Article Text must be anonymized and prepared for double-blind peer review.
  • The manuscript should be submitted as a DOC or DOCX file.
  • Each submission must include at least two files: 1. A file titled "Article Text", which is fully anonymized and contains no identifying information. 2. A file titled "Title Page", which includes the author(s)' information.

The provided names, surnames and e-mail addresses of the reviewers will be available for search in the OJS system and visible to journal editorial offices members of journals using the OJS system and system administrators.
