Manuscript template and text formatting – modified guidelines / Szablon i formatowanie tekstu ― zmodyfikowane wskazówki

In order to minimize authors time devoted to the preparation of manuscripts that will not be finally accepted for publication in the journal, two stages of the manuscript evaluation are introduced: preliminary and proper.

At the preliminary stage, it is acceptable that the formatting of bibliographies and footnotes, which take up the most time for authors, should be prepared in any bibliographic style.

Then the editors decide whether the text is rejected or submitted for substantive review (proper evaluation).

After receiving positive reviews, authors are obliged to format the manuscript in accordance with the formatting rules adopted in the journal.

Aby zminimalizować czas autorów poświęcony na przygotowanie manuskryptów, które nie zostaną ostatecznie zaakceptowane do druku w czasopiśmie, wprowadza się dwa etapy oceny tekstów: wstępny i właściwy.

Na etapie wstępnym dopuszcza się, aby formatowanie bibliografii i przypisów, które zabierają autorom najwięcej czasu, były przygotowane w dowolnym zapisie bibliograficznym.

Następnie redakcja podejmuje decyzję czy tekst zostaje odrzucony czy też przekazany do recenzji merytorycznej (oceny właściwej).

Po uzyskaniu pozytywnych recenzji autorzy mają obowiązek dokonać formatowania tekstu zgodnie z zasadami formatowania przyjętymi w czasopiśmie.

We are pleased to announce that on 30 May 2023 the journal "Studia Historiae Scientiarum" won the DOAJ Seal, awarded to journals by the Directory of Open Access Journals to mark the best practices of open access.

Z przyjemnością informujemy, że 30 maja 2023 r. czasopismo „Studia Historiae Scientiarum” zdobyło DOAJ Seal (znak DOAJ), przyznawany czasopismom przez Directory of Open Access Journals na oznaczenie najlepszych praktyk otwartego dostępu.

The Keepers – PKP Preservation Network

We are pleased to announce that in May 2023, the journal "Studia Historiae Scientiarum" was registered in the PKP Preservation Network (which is the so-called dark archive, the purpose of which is to preserve the content of journals for a long time), and then in the Keepers Register.

Z przyjemnością informujemy, że w maju 2023 r. czasopismo „Studia Historiae Scientiarum” zostało zarejestrowane w PKP Preservation Network (będącym tzw. ciemnym archiwum, którego celem jest długotrwałe zachowanie treści czasopism), a następnie w Keepers Register.
